Independent field testing has confirmed that the new LOVOL FL966H wheel loader delivers an impressive 12% improvement in fuel efficiency over its predecessor. The gains come from the newly developed Weichai WP10 engine mated to an optimized ZF transmission, along with a redesigned hydraulic system that reduces parasitic losses. Over a 1,000-hour field trial at a quarry in Hebei Province, the FL966H averaged 14.2 liters per hour under normal loading conditions — compared to 16.1 L/hr for the previous model. For operators running multiple shifts, this translates to significant annual fuel savings.
